COVID Changes

KINSTRUCT HEALTH UPDATE – JUNE 3RD 2020

We are pleased to announce that as of May 26th, Health care professionals have been given the go ahead to open their practices to all patients. This means we can begin seeing our families, and practice members choosing our care to improve their general health and well-being. This is great
news as we know the care you receive is essential. We look forward to caring for you and your families in a safe and efficient manner.

Changes we have made to ensure you feel safe, and comfortable at your next visit:

ACTIVE/PASSIVE SCREENINGS

We are doing active and passive screenings prior to your visit, and at your visit, to make sure you and/or your family members are healthy and symptom free. We ask that no one enter the office if they have any of the following symptoms:
(If you are unsure, please call the office to discuss your symptoms)

  • Fever
  • New or worsening cough
  • Shortness of breath

SOCIAL DISTANCING SIGNAGE

We have installed appropriate signage to help you navigate the social distancing requirements in the office and allow for efficient and safe patient flow.

SEPARATE ENTRANCE AND EXIT

Patients are being asked to use the side exit when leaving the office after their appointments. Follow the black floor arrow!

NO WAITING ROOM OR PLAY AREA

Patients will be directed at the front door to go to an assigned room and sign-in. There will be no waiting room or playroom at this time. We ask that the washroom be used for emergencies only.

HAND SANITIZATION STATIONS

We are having all use hand sanitizer as soon as they enter the office and before they leave. Hand sanitizer is provided at the front door and in each room.

SCHEDULE CHANGES & EQUIPMENT CLEANING

We have adjusted our schedule to allow for time in between patients to properly sanitize adjusting equipment, tables, doors, pens, etc. We are using health Canada approved cleaning products, and Personal Protective Equipment. Our procedures and new schedule will allow us to adhere to the social distancing requirements. No walk-ins at this time.

USE OF PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT

All practitioners and staff will be using appropriate PPE (Personal protective equipment), such as masks and gloves (following protocols from the Ministry of Health and Public Health Ontario). Patients are welcome to wear a mask and/or gloves.

EMAILED RECIEPTS & CONTACT LESS PAYMENT

We are encouraging our patients to book their appointments out in advance and take advantage of our prepaid plans to help make your visit as efficient as possible. All receipts will be emailed, to reduce paper use and contact. However, if you choose to have a printed copy please let our front desk staff know. No cash payments at this time.
